I started Sanitas Benefits in 2014 and was quite nervous to take the leap of faith and become a small business owner. In addition to starting from zero, I was also managing severe anxiety and panic attacks. Prior to insurance, I proudly served in the U.S. Army and Law Enforcement before starting Sanitas Benefits.
I realized early on when I started Sanitas Benefits that I could save employers a
considerable amount of time and frustration by leveraging technology to enhance and manage their benefit offerings. We pride ourselves on harnessing technology to simplify benefits for employers of any size.
Our ability to create custom service models based on employer size and need, reduces the amount of time spent by your HR team processing enrollments, dependent additions and other yearly maintenance tasks. If we do our job well, you can spend your time on things that allow your business to thrive and grow.
I strongly believe that employee education is critically important but often overlooked by brokers. Educating and effectively communicating your benefit offerings to your employees will skyrocket the perceived value of those benefits. Perception is reality and most employees have a low perceived value due to lack of education.
Understanding specific benefit plan details allows employees to become better
consumers and make good decisions based on their individual healthcare needs. Cost is not the driving force behind how employees feel about their benefits, education is.
